After a comprehensive hearing evaluation, a computer determines how to best program the Lyric for the listener’s ear. An audiologist or hearing specialist opens the package, inserts the hearing aid in the ear using a depth gauge for safe placement, then uses a programming wand to program each Lyric to exact specifications for the listener. A key-ring tool allows the listener to easily probe the Lyric and turn it on or off as needed.
The result is Lyric hearing aids that can be worn 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, unaffected by water or perspiration, for months at a time – without the hassle of changing batteries.
